# Privacy policy

## What we collect

- **Visitors:** we measure visits with Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (`_ga`, `_ga_*`) and records pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and we set no advertising cookies. You can opt out with [Google's opt-out add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies; see [how Google uses this data](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
- **Search:** ZIP and city searches run in your browser; we do not store them.
- **Claim form:** the name, email, phone and message you send, used only to handle your request and, if you choose a paid plan, your subscription. Requests are stored on Cloudflare (our host) and a copy is emailed to us through Cloudflare Email Service. We keep them for up to 24 months after your last contact, or longer if tax records require it for paid plans. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see card numbers.
- **Quote requests:** the number of trucks, ZIP code, city, test preferences, name, company, phone, email and message you send on the quote form. With your consent we share them with up to 3 CARB-credentialed testers near you so they can contact you with a price; those testers handle your details under their own policies. We store requests the same way as claims and keep them for up to 24 months. Ask us at any time to stop sharing or delete your request.
- **Deadline reminders:** the email address, deadline date, OBD answer and the optional truck name, truck count and ZIP code you enter on the reminder form. We use them only to email you before your Clean Truck Check deadlines, starting after you confirm by email. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days; confirmed ones are kept until you unsubscribe (one click in every email), which deletes the record. Reminders are stored on Cloudflare and sent through Cloudflare Email Service.
- **Bot check:** the claim, quote and reminder forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for signs of automation. Cloudflare processes that check under its own privacy policy; we only receive a pass/fail token.
- **Payments:** testers who buy a plan pay on Stripe's checkout page. Stripe sends us the plan, the business email and the listing it applies to, which we keep with the listing for as long as the plan is active and for tax records afterwards. We never see card numbers.
- **Email:** messages to hello@ctcfinder.com are delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing to our inbox.

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

## Tester listings

Listings come from CARB's public Clean Truck Check tester list, which testers choose to join. We do not publish testers' personal names or email addresses, and we hide street addresses that look residential. Testers can ask us to correct or remove a listing at any time.

## Your rights

California residents can ask what personal information we hold about them and ask us to delete it. Email hello@ctcfinder.com.
